Caroline Drab

Caroline Drab is a Swedish film producer and founder of BCD Film.​

Most recently Caroline produced Meanwhile on Earth (2020), a feature documentary by Carl Olsson, which premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Swedish film awards Guldbaggen, and screened at numerous film festivals across Europe, among them Tessaloniki, CPH:Dox and Camerimage. 

She has previously produced several successful shorts. We Were Three (2018) by Caroline Ingvarsson which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, Beneath the Spaceship (2015) also by Ingvarsson and Mr. Sugar Daddy (2016) by Dawid Ullgren which notably both premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. In addition, Caroline co-produced the Norwegian short Min Søster by Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad which won an Amanda, the Norwegian Film Award, in 2017.

Caroline is from Lund, Sweden and started her career at the renowned talent agency WME in Los Angeles. She has worked in the film industry for over 10 years in various positions before starting her own producing company. Caroline holds a Master’s degree in film & Media Producing from Lund University, Sweden, and Bachelor’s degree in TV-production from University of Florida, USA.
